Connect with first time guests! This team helps new people become acclimated to WVFC by sending out cards, emails and gifts to first and second time guests each week.

Adult Youth leaders mentor, disciple, guide and have fun with kids ages 6th grade though 12th grade.

GREETERS

MISSIONS MINISTRY
We support missions in Uganda Africa at Osanidde Orphanage as well as Marc and Kathy Shaw of Vienna, Austria. We have multiple missions teams that go to Uganda through the year. Interested in this ministry?

LIFE GROUP LEADER

MEALS MINISTRY
This team has the honor of taking a meal to anyone who has had a baby, a surgery, a loss in the family, etc…. Currently WVFC uses mealtrain.com to set up these meals. We just need your email address on file to get you in the loop.

NURSING HOME CARE
Pastor Patty Oliver visits Memory Care to bring them worship (older hymns) and the Word of God. Build relationships with the elderly through love and music.

USHERS
Ushers help people find their way around the church (direct people), greet people, seat people, help with receiving offerings, pass out communion, etc., during service. They arrive 15-20 minutes before service.

SOUND TECH
Sound Tech responsibility is to operate the sound reinforcement equipment in a manner that keeps the focus on worshiping God and hearing His Word for Sunday Services.

COMMUNION SETUP
We have communion available weekly in the front of the auditorium for all who would like to participate individually (or with your family). We receive communion corporately on the first Sunday of each month. This is a great place to serve by showing up 20 minutes before service to set up the communion trays for the church.

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY
Children’s Ministry volunteers help Sunday mornings at our 10:00am service. Volunteers have the choice of working with babies, preschool age or elementary aged kids. Responsibilities include teaching provided lesson and craft, monitoring children’s safety, praying with kids and having fun. Teachers are asked to arrive 15 min prior to service and provide minimal cleaning assistance when the service ends. Background check must be completed prior to entering any class.

To help people find and follow Jesus through loving spirit filled qualified leaders teaching God’s word and singing hymns to God. We hold church services in Independent Living facilities and love on the residents. Our services safe and comfortable for the sharing of needs.
